ことあるごとに、苦手な携帯プレーヤのイヤホンケーブル絡まり対策として早くBluetoothのイヤホンが出ないかと切望していたのが、Pocket PC対応のもので軽そうなのが出たらしい。やはりこういうのはPalmよりPocket PCの方が対応が早いのだ。

製品同梱のインストーラはiPAQのチェックが入っていてiPAQ以外のPocket PCにはインストールできないらしいが、Pocket PC Thoughtsのフォーラム書き込みで紹介されているこちらのドライバはBroadcomm製Bluetoothユニットを搭載するnon-iPAQのPocket PCにもインストール可能で、このヘッドセットが使えるらしい。

When installed, this CAB adds the following profiles to the Broadcom BT stack in the PDA2K: （1. High-Quality Audio 2. Keyboard）
This means that those of you holding stereo headsets can now connect them to PDA2k and here music, navigation instructions, etc from the device. As well, Bluetooth Keyboards are supposed to work well.
なおこのドライバは非公式のもの（ベータ版）なので自己責任で使用してほしいとのこと。
Pocket PCかぁ....DELL AXIM X50vが良いらしい。 それよりもApple（またはサードパーティ）からiPod用の軽量なBluetoothヘッドセットユニットがでないものか。
